Single Serve date-sweetened Haldi Doodh

Haldi doodh or golden milk with dates! Haldi doodh is a traditional South Asian drink with excellent antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties. comprised of warm spices including turmeric, cardamom, ginger, cloves and warm milk. This recipe is a single serve, blended drink recipe that comes out foamy, sweet and delicious. Feel free to adjust the amount of spices you add - you can always start off with a small amount and add more as you like.


2-3 pitted medjool dates + 2 tbsp warm water

1/4 tsp turmeric

1/4 tsp cardamom

1/8 tsp ground ginger 

1/8 tsp ground cloves 

1 1/4 cup of warm milk of your choice 



Blend 2-3 dates with about 1-2 tbsp of water until it’s smooth and well blended. Then add in turmeric and warm spices and milk and blend until it’s all combined thoroughly (30 seconds - 1 minute). Enjoy!
